According to Adweek, mobile advertisements are becoming the new sensation. In 2011 they are expected to skyrocket to reach $1 billion. Looks like just another reason for us to be glued to our cellulars. Whatever works.

It is amazing how our cell phones are becoming more useful then our computers at times. Until recently I have always resisted getting the internet on my phone, but in a special offer I decided to try it out. I am hooked. I have the E! application where I see a ton of advertisements in a day.I have to scroll down from the advertisement to get to the main page which is probably why advertisements are being used so much on phones because of the small screen and the size of an ad on a web page. Very interesting find!

It’s great that mobile advertisements have increased dramatically. They are starting to own the television advertisements, but I don’t think they will ever take over the beer advertisements.

Unsure about what the tone is on this post. I feel like a lot of times you end your writing with a shrug. Find ways to take a stand! 4/4
