Daryl Surat, Anime Critic

What is always interesting about Anime critics, is because of the launch of all sorts of different medias, critic Daryl Surat hasn’t made his bones through the tradition means. Daryl is one of three hosts that make up the Anime World Order podcast, which is one of if not the most popular Anime Podcast available on the internet.

In addition to that, Surat is also a contributing writer to Otaku USA Magazine a bi-monthly magazine that goes over much of the shows that are either being released now, or are getting a rerelease from different companies.

One particular recent feature he has written, has been of the classic animated series Urusei Yatsura A show that premiered in 1981. His review style of pretty much anything he reviews, whether it be for the magazine or his podcast, is that he doesn’t hold back and is very upfront and honest about what he thinks of any show that he sets his sites on. This review of the classic show is no different, granted some people can find his style grating at times, its very good to see that reviewers put as much love into what they love to watch as they do in their reviews or features.

Good choice of critic, but this post is jam-packed with AP Style errors. Missing commas, misspelled words, word-choice errors, and more. You need to clean up your writing. Also, “anime” isn’t capitalized. 6/10.
