Ryan Seacrest has made a name for himself on the reality show world. He has given himself an icon status as a host, producer, critic and director. Not only is he the most famous host of a very successful reality television show “American Idol” but he has also created several reality show on E! Entertainment Television including “Keeping up with the Kardashians”, “Courtney and Khloe take Miami” and “Pretty Wild.” He is also set to launch “Momma’s boy” for NBC and is working on two new shows with the socialites’ Paris Hilton and Brody Jenner.
His impressive resume also includes his national radio shows “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” and “America’s Top 40.” Both with work directly with reality show celebrities. He also has a fantastic blog http://www.ryanseacrest.com/blog/whats-happening/ in which these celebs are critiqued and fans get to interact within the website. His http://www.ryanseacrest.com also has clips of the shows, one on one interviews with the casts and behind the scene takes. He also interacts with his audience thru Facebook and Twitter.
He is an icon and his name has been learned by everybody who watches reality shows and enjoy entertainment.

I agree. Ryan Seacrest is a force to be reckoned with. I watched him on Oprah one day and it showed the life of Seacrest in a day. He wakes up at 3 a.m. and doesn’t get home until late at night. He works hard and he definitely deserves the recognition and money he gets.
I actually watch E!news a lot and just love his personality on the show. I really like how he’s not just anchor but also producer of several shows, host on “American Idol” and has his own radio show. He definitely is one of entertainment’s best known personalities in today’s world.
I agree as well. In the beginning(American Idol days), Seacrest was more of a joke, especially his on screen relationship with Simon Cowell. He has moved far from that though, and has become a name that you cannot ignore. Unless you are completely unfamiliar with all forms of communication, you are sure to see or hear Seacrest’s name somewhere!
WOW! I never knew that Ryan Seacrest is the mastermind behind Keeping Up With The Kardashians. I’m glad to see him doing so well. I totally agree; he has definitely made a name for himself in pop culture. Way to give someone credit like him!
An icon, yes, but not a critic. There are writers out there who are writing about reality TV, and I wish you had found one to fulfill the assignment. 4/10
