After years of waiting and speculation the Beatles catalog is now available on iTunes. Check out this article from the Hollywood Reporter about the legal dealings behind it all. Are you excited the Beatles music is now available for download?

Amazon.com is selling the physical stereo box set for $20 less than the complete collection on iTunes. I got that and the mono set when they came out last year, and I’m betting that the majority of listeners who want this stuff have it on at least one format already. But it’s climbing up the iTunes chart, so what do I know?
I agree with Anthony, I think most people already have the Beatles tunes they want, but it’s satisfying to know that I can go grab the songs on iTunes at free will now. Sad it was such a long, legal ordeal.
I think it’s cool that the collection is now available but as for the Apple website posting that this is going to change our life…completely misleading and a total let down!
I have been waiting for this for awhile, I think this is about a year too late, this would have been perfect to release alongside the ‘Beatles: Rock Band’ game that released last year, but I suppose the adage is ‘better late than never’ and I’m very happy to finally see the fab four available on the digital music scene. Now they have to start working on the other bands like AC/DC to get THEIR music on iTunes.
I’m surprised this didn’t happen sooner to be honest
Why does everyone care? I already have all the Beatles CDs. I’ve never seen Apple hype something that I already have. Actually, Apple does that all the time, never mind…
