South Park has done it again. It has offended someone yet again. This time, it’s apologizing. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have admitted that they stole lines from College Humor’s Inception Parody and said their sorries. For the full story, click here.

I can’t believe College Humor hasn’t (yet) announced that they’re suing Matt and Trey. The apology is a step in the right direction, but they should be held accountable.
That they stole some lines is bad enough, but I’m more bothered by the fact that they were watching other parodies as a reference in the first place. This is the show that blasted Family Guy so harshly (and deservedly) for being an unoriginal mess.
In the full apology they explain how they were in an extreme time crunch and didn’t get to watch the movie before putting out the episode, and that’s why they copied College Humor. I can’t even imagine how busy they are so I get that, but at the same time it’s their job. There really isn’t an excuse.
Seriously, its South Park. This show is lucky to still be on the air! They offend everybody in society but nobody really cares because in the end ITS FUNNY!
This is much ado about nothing really. I mean isn’t comedy and parody based on nothing but lifting lines from other things to use for yourself? Thats how those guys get away with making however many “______ Movie” crapfests that they have done.
